Discover Palazzo Orgnani

In the heart of Borgo Santa Maria in Udine lies Palazzo Orgnani, a noble residence steeped in centuries of history. Purchased by the Orgnani family in the 19th century, it still retains its elegant late Baroque façade, a charming portico with a 16th-century fresco attributed to Gaspare Negro, and a dramatic stone staircase.

Inside, you can admire rooms with inlaid floors, frescoed ceilings, and period furnishings, including the yellow living room that welcomed Gabriele D’Annunzio in 1915. The residence is completed by a small garden with neoclassical sculptures depicting the four seasons, a reminder of the vast agricultural property of the past.

Still inhabited today by the family’s descendants, Palazzo Orgnani is a precious testimony to Udine’s historical and artistic tradition.

A guided tour of the residence is available to visitors who make a donation to the fundraiser (minimum €10 per person, free for accompanied minors). The donation will go towards supporting ADSI FVG’s projects to promote tourism and the private cultural heritage of the region.
